NOTICE OF A WORKSHOP MEETING
FOR HAVEN TOWNSHIP
SHERBURNE COUNTY, MINNESOTA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Haven Township Board of Supervisors
in Haven Township, Sherburne County, Minnesota
will hold a Workshop Meeting on September 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
Or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Haven Township Hall
Located at 4230 45th Avenue SE, St. Cloud, MN 56304
County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota

The Haven Board of Supervisors will convene to host a workshop with the
City of St. Cloud Zoning Staff. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Zoning Topics.
Additionally, the board will engage in a workshop format to discuss the
Orderly Annexation Agreement with the City of St. Cloud, MN

Topics to be Reviewed & Options to be Found:
Township Zoning Administration: Ben Oleson will be present at the meeting to discuss his
role.
Citizen Planning Commission: Collin Gau is the Chairperson and has had several meetings
with the new members over the past few months.

OAA Expiration: The Orderly Annexation Agreement expires on October 30, 2025. Haven has
been meeting with the City of St. Cloud monthly for the past year. Haven needs to review the
current direction and will be seeking logical advice on how to make a transition for annexation
areas. They have explored several options for the township that included prior meetings to have
their department do Haven Zoning.

Establishing a Clear Process for Communication: The Township would like to establish a
clear process for communication with the City of St. Cloud and Haven Township for Planning &
Zoning purposes.
