Effective Monday, August 4, 2025, Highway 10 will be closed at 45th Avenue SE, prohibiting access to the highway.  County Road 65 will also have access closed at Highway 10.

Safety Enhancement and New Grade Crossing Construction:

In Haven Township, Sherburne County Public Works has secured approximately $2.6 million in grant funding to enhance safety by realigning the current intersection to a perpendicular crossing with both Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) rail and Highway 10.

County Road 65 will undergo reconstruction commencing in August 2025. BNSF necessitates a Grade Crossing Construction and Maintenance Agreement for all roadways crossing BNSF right of way. The county’s estimated share of the crossing reconstruction is $243,105.

Consequently, both 45th Avenue SE and County Road 65 will be temporarily closed to public travel, necessitating the installation of signage and barriers.

Residents who live on 45th Ave SE will have access around the road closed barriers.  No other traffic will be permitted.
